"Simple" director SA100 means salary, dividends and standard personal allowances from this company. Multiple income sources, rental income, foreign income, capital gains, HICBC and second directorships are quoted separately.

HMRC agent, not "HMRC-recognised software." Filing is done by PowerStone Accountants using their authorised agent credentials. We don't claim the software itself is HMRC-recognised for direct MTD filing.

Questions people actually ask

Who is TaxChad for today?+

UK limited companies and their directors. Sole traders and landlords are coming soon — you can register interest and we'll notify you the moment we open.

Can I use the software without a qualified accountant?+

Yes. The Bookkeeping plan stands alone — you keep your own books and file your own returns. The Review & File add-on is optional.

Is the accountant actually qualified?+

Yes. Returns are prepared and filed by PowerStone Accountants — a CIMA-regulated UK practice. We're not AI pretending to be an accountant.

Is TaxChad HMRC-recognised software?+

Filing is done by PowerStone Accountants as your authorised HMRC agent — we don't claim the software itself is HMRC-recognised for direct filing.

Do I have to sign anything to add the accountant?+

Yes. UK regulation requires KYC/AML checks and a signed engagement letter before regulated work begins. Chad walks you through it inside the app.

Can I cancel? What happens to my data?+

Cancel any time from account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. We do not automatically delete your data — you can request a copy at any time, before or after cancellation, by emailing privacy@taxchad.com, and we'll respond within one month. UK companies are generally required to keep accounting records for at least six years, so we keep yours until you ask us to delete them. Full detail in our Terms.
